The MyUNLV training team offers a variety of training resources and opportunities for new and current staff members. New MyUNLV administrative users are required to complete a FERPA tutorial and participate in designated training.
Courses
- MyUNLV Basic Navigation and Student Records Introduction — this course is designed for new users who need basic access to individual student records including application information, class schedules, course history, grade history and biographical details. Completion of this course makes a user eligible for basic student records security access to MyUNLV. All security access must be approved.
- MyUNLV View Customer Account — this course is designed for new users who need basic access to student account information including account balances, tuition and fee charges, anticipated aid and other account information. Completion of this course makes a user eligible for basic student finance access to MyUNLV. All security access must be approved.
- Online Training Options — a variety of online training tutorials are available. Please note: completing a training tutorial does not guarantee you will be granted access to a specific component of MyUNLV. Access must be approved by a business owner and supervisor.
- Module Specific Training — the training team also offers a variety of module specific training based on demand. If you need module specific training, please send a detailed request to pstraining@unlv.edu.
